Founded by a team with over twenty years’ experience in the logistics and energy sectors
Viaro has been trading petroleum and petrochemical products with international partners since 2012. Our trading is based on a network of established international partners, but our intention is to enhance our business by expanding our network and researching new opportunities. Oil and Gas is a fundamental part of our business. The sector is in a period of rapid evolution and we must change with it.
We are seeking innovation within the sector especially upstream and exploring opportunities in renewables and new energy technologies.
Crude oil is a naturally occurring, unrefined petroleum product made of hydrocarbon deposits and other organic materials. It is a type of fossil fuel. Crude oil can be refined to produce products such as gasoline, diesel, and other forms of petrochemicals.
The Viaro Energy team has successfully
operated in the crude trading sector since 2012. We work closely with partners in a range of geographies through our central hub in London.
Fuel oil is a fraction obtained from petroleum distillation, either as a distillate or a residue. It is also known as heavy oil, marine fuel or furnace oil. Broadly, fuel oil is any liquid fuel that is burned in a furnace or boiler for the generation of heat or used in an engine for the generation of power. The term fuel oil is also used in a stricter sense to refer only to the heaviest commercial fuel that can be obtained from crude oil, i.e., heavier than gasoline and naphtha.
Viaro Energy is actively involved in the fuel oil sector.
Gasoline or petrol is a derivative product of crude oil. It is derived during the fractional distillation process and has a translucent liquid form. Different additives are added such as ethanol to use it as fuel for passenger vehicles. In the US and Latin countries, the term gasoline is used. In Europe and Asian countries it is called petrol.
The Viaro Energy team can assist with the gasoline supply chain.
Naphtha comes from the Greek and is derived from the Persian word “Naft” (= crude oil). The term is used to describe light crude oils. Naphtha is also understood to mean untreated petroleum distillate from the refining of crude oil or natural gas, which has the approximate boiling range of gasoline. Naphtha is primarily used as a base material for the production of high-grade gasoline by means of the catalytic reforming process.
The Viaro Team actively invests in the naphtha production process.
Petrochemicals are the chemical products obtained from petroleum by refinement processes. Some chemical compounds made from petroleum are also obtained from other fossil fuels, such as coal or natural gas, or renewable sources such as maize, palm fruit or sugar cane. The two most common petrochemical classes are olefins (including ethylene and propylene) and aromatics (including benzene, toluene and xylene isomers).
Viaro Energy invests in all aspects of the petrochemical production process and supply chain.
